Set in the heart of Ounasvaara, on the edge of Rovaniemi, the Santasport specialises in active holidays and wellbeing breaks. There’s something for all ages and fitness levels, so it’s a great choice for families.
Bedrooms here are modern and spacious, and come with wooden furniture and plenty of soft seating. They each come with a kitchenette, too, and the 1 bedroom family room features a PlayStation® console.
You can expect a kitchenette in all of these rooms. There’s twin rooms available or if you want a bit more room- you can opt for a 2 bedroom family room which comes with a lounge.
Indoor pool
As you'd expect the pool is indoors, and a great size. Being a sports hotel there are lanes marked within the pool so if you enjoy a swimming laps, this pool is ideal. There's a dress code for using the pool, for men it's tight swimming trunks.
Children's pool
Little ones can splash around to their heart's content here, plus they've got a slide for extra fun.
The restaurant* goes down the healthy route, serving nutritious dishes and plenty of vegetarian choices. There’s also a café* where you can get light bites like sandwiches and pastries, and they also have hot food on offer such as burgers and fries.

With a selection of wholesome cuisine as well as an abundance of vegetarian options. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are in buffet style. Breakfast is included in the price whilst lunch and dinner are at an additional charge.
Santasport cafe*
You can grab light bites and hot snacks here including sandwiches, burgers and fries.
Activities here are offered up by the Santa Sport Institute*, which includes a sports hall, a bowling alley and fitness suite. There are a couple of indoor pools at the hotel, including one with a waterslide.The surrounding Nordic Fitness Sport Park has trails for snowshoeing*, walking and mountain biking*, plus a network of downhill skiing* routes. As for relaxation, you can look forward to saunas and hot tubs.
